NEW YORK, N.Y.- The TCNJ women's track team went up to the Big Apple for the Lions Indoor Invitational at the 168
th St. Armory on Friday.

Eliza Bruncaj ran her best 60-meter dash of the season, taking third on Friday with a time of 9.44 seconds. She also was the top Lion in the 200-meter dash, finishing sixth after crossing the finish line at 9.44.

Sophomore
Kelly O'Grady had a strong performance in the 800-meter run, taking third place after a time of 2:24.42.

In the 500-meter run,
Amanda Demko racked up another third-place finish for the Blue & Gold after running to the pace of 1:20.08.

In the high jump,
Kayley Harnett and
Abigail Pfaff finished third and fourth respectively for the event on Friday. Harnett cleared the bar of 1.62 meters while Pfaff cleared a personal best 1.57 meters.

In the Pole Vault, freshman
Emerson Dirk leapt to a fifth-place finish after clearing the bar set at 3.15 meters.

Kelsey Thomas and
Naesha Gadie picked up eighth-place finishes for TCNJ in the 400-meter run and mile consecutively. Thomas ran her 400 in 1:02.23 while Gadie ran her mile in 5:24.71.
Kerri McCarthy placed ninth in the shot put with her best throw of the season, marking 11.36 meters.Â

The Lions return to the track next Saturday at the Ithaca Quad Meet.
