ITHACA, N.Y.- The TCNJ men's track team finished second out of four at the Ithaca Quad Meet on Saturday. The team compiled a total of 52 points, second to Cortland's 81.

Jack Attali continues to shine in his freshman campaign, taking first in both the 60-meter hurdles and the 200-meter run. He ran 8.21 once again in the hurdles and a blazing 22.1 in the 200.

Ray Schmitt had another solid day at the Ithaca Quad Meet as his 6.99 seized first in the 60-meter dash. In the 200, he took seventh place with a time of 23.21.

Anthony Guarino led the pace in the 3000-meter run, claiming first place with a time of 8:57.63.
Matthew Richardson was shortly behind as he finished fourth after crossing the finish line at 9:04.8.

The men's 4x400-meter team of Attali,
Jeffrey Heineman,
Tyler Scott and
Tyrese Gilbert ran to the tune of 3:26.60, good enough for second in the event.

Zach Mackiewicz had an identical performance to last week, throwing 16.66 meters in the weight throw. This distance earned him second, a meter and change ahead of
Luke Schrank-Garcia, who threw 15.30 meters.

Steve Daramola and
Jayden Wright were solid in the shot put, taking second and third respectively. Daramola finished second with a distance of 14.47 meters and Wright's 14.08 took third.

Tyler DeMarco and
Jayvee Dumas made up two of the top three in the pole vault as Demarco took second, clearing 4.15 meters while Dumas cleared 4.0 meters to finish third.

The Lions return to the track next Friday at George Mason for the Patriot Games Multi starting at 4 PM.
