EWING, N.J. – Cassidy Quinn's third-place finish highlighted a runner-up showing for the TCNJ women's cross country team at the NJAC Championship on Saturday.
Quinn made full use of home-course advantage at the Lions' Green Lane home, crossing the finish line in a career-best 22:23.4, the lone runner to break up a nearly all Rowan top-5.
Savannah Hodgens took 9
th overall in 23:17.5, while
Alyssa Maybeck was the highest finishing rookie in the conference as she took 10
th in 23:20.7
Molly Bossdorf ran a personal-best 23:41.9 to land in 15
th, one spot out of All-NJAC honors.
Carmelina Sanci also ran a new PR, crossing the line in 23:53.2 to finish 19
th.
Ava Biemuller placed 24
th with a 24:04.6 in her championship debut, while
Riley Stellitano was the seventh Lion to complete the course in a 26
th-place 24:16.7.
The Lions will compete at the NCAA Metro Region Championship on November 16.
