The TCNJ women's track team had another packed weekend, sending athletes to both the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University and the Big Apple Invitational in Staten Island, N.Y. At both meets, the Lions showed out with some impressive numbers worth noting.

DAVID HEMERY VALENTINE INVITATIONAL (BOSTON, MA.)
- Freshman Mackenzie Burke ran great on Friday in both the 60-meter hurdles and the 200-meter run. She placed 14th out of 26 finalists with a time of 9.78 seconds and ran a personal best time of 26.49 in the 200.
- Freshman Samantha Magin ran a personal best in the 400-meter run, crossing the finish line at 1:01.5.
- Kelsey Thomas was the third first year to record a personal best in Boston, running a time of 26.76 seconds in the 200-meter run.
- In the 3000-meter run, Emily Hoegler ran to the tune of 10:46.47.

BIG APPLE INVITATIONAL (STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.)
- Edith Gonzalez received the best placement for the Lions on Saturday, taking eighth in the shot put with a throw of 11.91 meters.
- Jessica Reilly took 11th for TCNJ in the weight throw with a mark of 14.61 meters.
- Sophomore Cameron Ruffini had a great showing at the Big Apple Invitational, running a pair of personal bests in the 200-meter run and the 400-meter run. Her times of 27.29 and 1:02.59 in the 200 and 400 were good for 31st and 42nd place respectively.
- Lia Malave PR'd in the 60-meter dash on Saturday afternoon, crossing the finish line at 8.20 seconds.

The Lions track and field team will take the week to gear up for the NJAC Championships on Monday, February 19 at 4:00 PM.
