STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Sending a handful of competing athletes, the TCNJ men's track and field team saw some notable performances at the 2024 Fastrack Last Chance Meet on Friday afternoon.
LAST CHANCE PERFORMANCES
Freshman
Jack Attali finished second in the 60 meter hurdles after hitting an AARTFC qualifying time of 8.17. In the 200 meter dash, Attali also crossed the finish line with the seventh-fastest time of 21.96 for the 200 meter dash, which was an AARTFC qualifying time as well.
The 3000 meter saw junior
Matt Granizo finish in fifth with an AARTFC-qualifying time of 8:39.28.
In the Mile, sophomore
Roman Fabbricatore 15th after clocking in at 4:22.52, while fellow sophomore
Kevin Matthews crossed the finish line just three-tenths of a second behind him at 4:22.85 for 16th place.
UP NEXT
The Lions will resume indoor postseason action next Friday by competing in the AARTFC Championship meet hosted by Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y. The meet is set to begin at 11 AM.
