STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- The TCNJ women's track and field team was back at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday for the Fastrack Last Chance Meet. The Lions competed well and put up some noteworthy numbers in the process.

Katherine Rice and
Emily Hoegler were impressive once again in the 3000-meter run, taking fourth and sixth for the event. Rice finished fourth with a time of 10:43.71 while Hoegler was shortly behind at 10:52.13.

Freshman
Lia Malave qualified for regionals on Friday in the long jump, taking fifth in the event with a distance of 5.38 meters. This mark is also a personal best for Malave.

NJAC champion
Kayley Harnett had yet another solid day in the high jump, clearing the bar set at 1.55 meters and claiming fifth.

Another conference champion in
Julia Dakwar placed in the pole vault after her mark of 3.05 meters.

In the 800-meter run,
Alex Grivas ran a personal best time of 2:22.68 and earned 17
th for the event.

In the 200, freshman
Kelsey Thomas ran her personal best time of the season. She took 18
th for the event with a time of 26.36.

The TCNJ track and field team is all set for the AARTFC Championships on Friday, March 1
st at Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y., starting at 11:00 AM.
