Reilly Breaks School Record in HT for Women's T&F at Widener

CHESTER, PA.- The TCNJ women's track and field was impressive this past weekend at the Paul Donahue Invitational hosted by Widener University. The Lions were all over the leaderboards with some great marks that deserve recognition.
 
  • Jessica Reilly highlighted the Lions, setting the school record in the Hammer Throw with a heave of 50.84. This mark was good for fourth place and broke the previous record held by her by nearly a whole meter.
  • The women's 4x400 team of Samantha Magin, Kelsey Thomas, Cameron Ruffini, and Amanda Demko ran to the tune of 4:00.50 and second place for the event.
  • Molly Bossdorf added another second-place finish for TCNJ in the 3000m Steeplechase, running a time of 11:56.38.
  • Mackenzie Burke has been great in the hurdles all year and continued to do so in the 400m hurdles, taking fifth place with a time of 1:04.98.
  • Kaydence Fischer picked up a sixth-place finish in the discus after a throw of 38.46 meters.
  • Cassidy Quinn and Emily Hoegler had solid days in the 5000m, finishing sixth and seventh respectively with times of 17:51.74 and 17:54.82.
 
TCNJ track and field returns to the track next weekend for the Penn Relays starting on Thursday and the TCNJ Outdoor Invitational kicking off on Friday afternoon.
