SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – Aira Abalos and Zoey Albert saw their regional runs come to an end in the Round of 16 of the championship singles bracket at the ITA Northeast Regional on Sunday.
 
Abalos, making her second third-round appearance in as many years, played tough but conceded a 6-4, 6-3 decision to Vassar's Erin McCusker.
 
Albert, in her first third-round singles appearance at regionals, gave Ithaca's Taylor Crain a battle before succumbing to a 7-5, 6-3 defeat.
 
The women's tennis team has concluded its fall slate and will resume competition in the spring.
