Women's Swimming & Diving Celebrates Senior Day

EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ women's swimming team honored its senior class during the second leg of a two-day weekend dual with Rowan on Saturday.
 
After swimming nine events on Friday in Glassboro, the Lions returned home on Saturday to compete in eight events. Before the meet, the program honored Nisha Narayanan, Colleen Scanlon, Erin Sommers, and Lauren Wolstenholme in a pre-meet Senior Day ceremony.
 
The Profs (3-3) ended the two-day dual with a 235-80 victory over the Lions.
 
MEET NOTES
  • Lilliana Kuball was the weekend standout for TCNJ. She won the 100 breast in 1:08.31 and also placed second in the 50 free (25.44) and 200 IM (2:14.68)
  • Bridget Cleveland took second in the 200 back (2:13.52) and third in the 200 free (2:03.35)
  • Narayanan, a junior in the 7-year medical program, was runner-up in the 100 fly (1:02.41) as well as third in the 200 fly (2:24.60)
  • Katelyn Gaulin placed second in the 200 breast (2:33.29)
  • Katie Mazzacco finished third in both the 100 free (57.34) and 500 free (5:25.42)
  • Scanlon grabbed third place in the 100 back (1:02.72)
  • Cleveland was involved in all three second-place relays for the Lions: the 200 free relay (1:43.31), the 400 free relay (3:48.68), and the 400 medley relay (4:09.49)
  • Kuball swam on both the 200 free and 400 medley relays, while Mazzacco and Mary Kate Owens were each on both of the free relay units

  • The Lions head to Montclair State on Saturday for their final dual of the season
