Melody Lin TCNJ Invite 2024

Women’s Swimming and Diving Moves Closer to First on Day Two of TCNJ Invitational

11/22/2025 9:28:00 PM

EWING, N.J. – Off the back of two key wins and some excellent dives, TCNJ closed the gap between themselves and first-place Stevens on the second day of the TCNJ Invitational.

Shaye Bundonis earned the Lions their first win of the evening on the 100 Back. She posted a time of 1:00.36, which about one-and-a-half seconds ahead of second place. The second win for TCNJ came in the last event of the night—the 800 Free Relay. Although the Lions' A relay came in second place behind Stevens, that winning relay was disqualified. As a result, the relay of Sarah Mandy, Katie Mazzacco, Mary Kate Owens, and Bridget Cleveland allowed the Lions to end the day with two wins.

The Lions swimmers also won a B final thanks to Emma Vindigni. The sophomore logged a time of 1:14.6 in the 100 Breaststroke.

In diving, Beth Evaldi (1st) and Melody Lin (2nd) topped the list in the 1-meter. Evaldi posted a 431.55 while Lin earned a 389.50. Hannah Simons placed in 5th with her score of 370.15, and Jenna Ringel was in 7th with a 327.80.

The TCNJ Invitational wraps up tomorrow with prelims at 9 A.M., diving at 11:00 A.M., and finals at 2:00 P.M.
