NEW YORK, N.Y., ITHACA, N.Y. & HAVERFORD, P.A. - The TCNJ women's track and field team had a competitive weekend at the Rutgers Scarlet Knight Open, the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational, and the Seamus McElligott Invitational this past weekend.
 
ON THE TRACK
SCARLET KNIGHT OPEN

• On Friday, TCNJ's 4x200 meter team ran the fastest time in the NJAC with a 1:45.37 time, which is also the eighth fastest in TCNJ history. The legs of the race included Mackenzie Burke, Erin Picklo, Rukky Daranijo, and Cameron Ruffini who finished in second for the event, just short of first by a hundredth of a second.

SEAMUS MCELLIGOTT INVITATIONAL

• Liz Claros came in third place in the 5000-meter race with a finishing time of 21:16.71.
• Carmelina Sanci (11:19.91) placed fifth in the 3,000 meters

IN THE FIELD
SCARLET KNIGHT OPEN

• Brooke Valan jumped 10.46 meters in the triple jump.

ITHACA BOMBER INVITATIONAL

• Eliza Bruncaj scored 3058 points in the pentathlon to place 6th at the Bomber Invite. Her performance is second in the NJAC and 3rd in the Metro Region. 

SEAMUS MCELLIGOTT INVITATIONAL

• Jessica Reilly won the weight throw with a mark of 14.85 meters, just ahead of Kerri McCarthy in second (14.75 meters)
• Maya Scannell claimed third place in the pole vault event at 2.90 meters.
• Kerri McCarthy threw 11.75 meters in the shot put, landing in fifth place, followed by teammate Allison Lavin in sixth place at 11.42 meters.
