PITMAN, N.J. – Steve Daramola was named Field Athlete of the Week by the NJAC on Monday afternoon.
 
Daramola, a senior thrower on the men's track and field team, notched a new personal best with a mark of 16.57 meters in the weight throw at the Blue & Orange Invitational on Saturday. His performance is the best in the NJAC and good for second in the Metro Region.
 
Daramola is now a two-time winner of the league's weekly honor for field athletes, though this marked his first such indoor award.
