UTICA, N.Y. – The TCNJ women's track and field team picked up a pair of event victories at Utica's Blue & Gold Invitational on Saturday.
 
ON THE TRACK

• Ava Biemuller won the 5,000 meters in an AARTFC qualifying time of 18:27.62, crossing the line just over a second ahead of the runner-up from SUNY Geneso. Teammates Ella Daly (19:22.08), Alyssa Maybeck (19.48.65), and Lea Martin (19:53.37) all followed Biemuller, placing within the top 20
• Kelly O'Grady claimed first place in the 400-meter dash with an AARTFC qualifier of 59.90 seconds
• Lia Malave claimed 10^th place (8.15) out of the 72 athletes who participated in the 60-meter dash
• Rukky Daranijo finished in fourth place in the 200-meter invitational with a time of 26.18.

IN THE FIELD

• Malave was runner-up in the long jump at 5.36 meters
• Brooke Valan placed ninth in the triple jump (10.46 meters)
• Jessica Reilly finished sixth in the weight throw (15.31m), followed by Kerri McCarthy in ninth (14.48m)
• McCarthy also finished 11^th in the shot put (11.46m)
