BOSTON – Rukky Daranijo,
Eliza Bruncaj,
Brenna Omert, and
Kelly O'Grady put up a big performance in the 4x400-meter relay at a last-chance meet hosted by Boston University on Sunday, leading a host of strong efforts for the TCNJ women's track and field team.
The Lions' quartet finished in 3:52.84, the 6
th-fastest time in school history. The time, when converted, will put them 16
th in all of Division III and just outside of NCAA qualification.
ELSEWHERE ON THE TRACK
- O'Grady posted a career-best time of 58.33 seconds in the 400-meter dash, a time that ranks just outside the top-50 nationally
- Cassidy Quinn moved into 10th all-time at TCNJ with a big PR of 10:17.52 in the 3000 meters; Ava Biemuller's 10:34.41 was a few tenths of a second clear of her 3rd-place time from the NJAC Indoor Championship
- Bruncaj placed sixth with a time of 9.20 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, the same time she clocked in finishing runner-up at the conference meet
- Petra Doherty ran a personal-best 26.12 in the 200-meter dash
