KANSAS CITY, Mo. – TCNJ men's basketball rising seniors

Jonathan Okocha, and
Matthew Solomon were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court, announced Thursday by the organization.
The NABC Honors Court recognizes junior, senior and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2024-25 year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher.
A Finance major with a 3.22 GPA, Koch played his way to first team All-NJAC status and earned second team All-Region recognition from both the NABC and D3hoops.com after a prolific campaign in which he averaged 21.4 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.8 rebounds per game. He led the NJAC in total field goals (219, 14
th nationally) and was third in both points per game and assists per game. Koch scored at least 20 points on 18 different occasions, and his 599 total points were good for 15
th in Division III. Koch had five 30-point games during the 2024-25 season, including 37 in the season opener at Centenary and 32 in the NCAA Tournament against Pitt-Bradford. Through his first three seasons, Koch is eighth in program history in assists (265) and 16
th in career points (1,202).
A Kinesiology & Health Sciences major with a 3.43 GPA, Okocha earned a starting spot at shooting guard as a junior and took full advantage, averaging 8.5 points per game and leading the team with 59 made 3-pointers. He made multiple triples in 20 contests, including a run of eight straight to open the season, and put up 19 points and six rebounds in the Lions' first-round NCAA Tournament thriller with Pitt-Bradford.
A Marketing major with a 3.74 GPA, Solomon received All-NJAC honorable mention for the second straight season after averaging just shy of a double-double with 11.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. The 2-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree led the NJAC in rebounding and in double-doubles (11), ranking inside the top-30 in the nation in both categories. He also shot 51.6 percent from the field while leading the Lions in blocked shots (16) and ranking third in assists (81). Solomon scored 21 points and grabbed a program-record 22 rebounds in the NCAA Tournament clash with Pitt-Bradford, and already ranks fifth in school history with 705 career boards.
