GALLOWAY, N.J. – Naesha Gadie ran to a 5
th-place finish as the Lions took second place at the Osprey Open on Saturday.
Gadie ran the 6K course in 22:53.10, and was one of two Lions to finish in the top-10. Sophomore
Ella Daly joined Gadie in the top 10, running to 9
th- place finish in 23:30.89.
Making up the remainder of the Lions scoring five were
Savannah Hodgens (15
th, 23:47.86),
Teagan Walker (18
th, 23:50.47), and
Alex Grivas (23
rd, 24:10.34). Finally,
Ava Biemuller (27
th, 24:23.71) and
Taylor Rooney (32
nd, 24:51.69) made up the last two spots on TCNJ's top seven finishers.
As a result of these hard-fought finishes, the Lions finished 2
nd out of 16 total teams with a score of 65 points. behind Rowan (43) and just ahead of Jefferson (72).
The Lions will be in action next at the Don Cathcart Invitational in Salisbury, Maryland, on September 27.
