PHILADELPHIA, Pa. & NEW YORK, N.Y. – The TCNJ men's track and field team competed at two events over the weekend, with part of the team heading to the Widener Indoor Classic and another to the NYU DIII Invitational.
WIDENER INDOOR CLASSIC
Jack Attali finished runner-up in the finals of the 60m hurdles, posting a season-best time of 8.18. Attali also won the prelims of the event with an 8.21.
In the 400,
Noah Traverso and
Nate Adams both placed inside of the top ten. Traverso placed fourth in 48.76, and Adams finished in seventh with a PR-time of 49.58.
Brody Dillich,
Will Evarts, and
Josh Santiago also logged a personal-best times over the weekend. Dillich achieved his in the 800m (18
th, 1:57.13), Evarts in the mile (24
th, 4:30.22), and Santiago in the 3000 (15
th, 8:45.87).
The action in the field was also full of positives for the Lions. In the shot put,
Braden Paulmenn (15.23m) and
Jayson Lewis (15.11) placed third and fourth respectively, with Lewis's mark being a new personal best.
Michael Celoski also posted a career-best mark of 13.27m in the event, finishing in 19
th. Paulmenn also led the way in the weight throw (14
th, 15.03m).
Jayvee Dumas equaled his season-best mark from a few weeks ago in the pole vault, placing third (4.60m). Zach Kosinski placed 11
th in the event with a PR-height of 4.15m. Finally, Traverso placed eighth in the long jump, leaping 6.62m.
Ryan Donnelly placed a few spots behind in 12
th (6.51m).
NYU DIII INVITATIONAL
The action at the Armory was highlighted by the 200, where
Anthony Senatore placed seventh. Zach Salib (13
th) and
Tyler Seaton (19
th) joined Senatore in the top 20 of the event.
Simon Bernhardt earned a second top-ten finish on the track for the Lions, finishing tenth (9:04.44) in the 3000. Finally,
Nihar Tantry paced the Lions with a 16
th-place finish (52.14) in the 400.
In the field, the Lions picked up two top-ten placements as well.
Tyler Meier finished tied for seventh in the high jump (1.85m), while Maxwell Reilly placed tenth (1.80m).
