PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – On the first day of the NJAC Indoor Championships, the TCNJ men's track and field team collected several podium finishes, and
Maxim Rychkov lowered his own program record on the 60m.
TCNJ currently sits in first place with 69 points, holding a narrow lead of four over Rowan. Although the second day of the meet was originally scheduled to take place on Sunday, it was postponed to February 27 due to the forecasted blizzard.
RYCHKOV'S RECORD-BREAKER
Rychkov put himself in prime position for a championship run next week, winning the 60m prelims with a time of 6.75—currently the sixth fastest time in DIII. In doing so, he broke his previous program record of 6.77 that he set earlier this year.
