NEW YORK, N.Y. – The TCNJ men's track and field wrapped up day one of this year's AARTFC Indoor Championships, ending the day tied for sixth place. Braden Paulmenn's runner-up performance in the shot put was the highlight of the day for the Lions.
 
ON THE TRACK

• TCNJ's DMR squad of Will Evarts, Nihar Tantry, Brody Dillich, and Ryan Segalla placed sixth in 10:20.83.
• Jayvee Dumas set a new personal-best time in the prelims of the 60m hurdles, where he finished in 13^th in 8.35.
• Phil Pace and Josh Santiago ran in the 5000m for the Lions, with Pace finishing in 13^th (15:15.43) and Santiago in 16^th (15:26.88).

 
IN THE FIELD

• Paulmenn placed second in the shot put (16.46m), only behind a thrower who broke the meet record in first. Jayson Lewis also competed in the event, finishing in 27^th (13.75m).
• Jayvee Dumas cleared 4.33m in the pole vault, placing tied for 26^th.
