NEW YORK, N.Y. – The TCNJ women's track and field team competed in the first day of this year's AARTFC Indoor Championships, ending the day tied for eighth place.
Sarah Scepkowski and TCNJ's 4x400 relay highlighted the day with their top-five finishes.
Scepkowski placed fifth in the pentathlon with 3,079 points, thanks in large part to a runner-up performance in both the 60m hurdles (9.15) and the high jump (1.55m). She also placed fourth in the shot put (9.42m). As a result, she improved two spots from her seventh-place finish at indoor regionals last year.
