Men's T&F Enjoys Eight Top-Three Performances at Paul Donahue Invitational

CHESTER, Pa. – The TCNJ men's track and field team traveled to Pennsylvania for the Paul Donahue Invitational over the weekend, putting in several great performances to continue a positive start to the outdoor season.
 
ON THE TRACK
  • Maxim Rychkov placed second in the 200 (21.30) only behind a runner from Penn.
  • Noah Traverso posted a DIII top-15 time in the 400 to finish third in the race (47.37).
  • Rychkov, Traverso, Chris Eubanks, and Tyler Seaton placed first out of all DIII relays in the 4x100, posting a time of 41.34.
  • Nate Adams finished third overall in the 400 hurdles, posting a 53.37. Adams also was a part of the third-place relay in the 4x400, where he ran with Traverso, Rychkov, and Lebron Rose to post a time of 3:11.49.
  • TCNJ's A relay in the 4x100 placed second overall and first out of all DIII relays.
  • Brandon Chen finished runner-up in the 5000m (14:38.82) to pace the Lions in the event.
  • Nate Kidwell finished fifth in the steeplechase (9:31.48).
  • Thomas Blach finished in 18th overall and 7th out of the DIII runners involved in the 800m, posting a time of 1:53.58.
  • Kevin Matthews represented the Lions in the mile, where he finished in 11th place (4:10.93).
 
IN THE FIELD
  • Braden Paulmenn placed third in the shot put (15.05m) to lead the Lions, while Jayson Lewis (14.55m) and Michael Celoski (13.12m) placed sixth and eleventh respectively in the event.
  • Christian Farhat (51.01m) and Paulmenn (49.59m) competed in the top flight of the hammer throw, placing eighth and ninth respectively. Xavier Lynch competed in the other flight for the Lions and placed fourth (44.53m).
  • Ryan Mohr led the way for the Lions in the javelin, with his best attempt measuring 53.80m and placing him in sixth. Paulmenn placed tenth (50.89m) in that event to join Mohr in the top ten.
  • Tyler Kadezabek and Jayvee Dumas both placed in the top ten of the pole vault, as they both cleared 4.35m.
  • Ryan Donnelly placed eighth in the long jump (6.60m), Max Reilly placed 12th in the high jump (1.83m), and Tyler Meier placed 15th in the triple jump (12.49m).
