Bloomsburg, PA…The College of New Jersey's women's swimming and diving squad traveled to Division II Bloomsburg University on Friday night for a dual meet with the Huskies. TCNJ's women's team tallied a 112-93 win to improve to 6-1 . The women's race was decided in the final relay on the night and the Lions needed a win to take the meet and did just that taking both first and third to seal the win.
Rookie
Traci Hofer (Millville, NJ/Millville) picked up three first place showings in the meet as she won the 50 and 100 freestyle events and was part of the winning 400 freestyle relay.

Melissa Hessler (Palmyra, NJ/Palmyra), freshman
Leah Varvaro (Egg Harbor Township, NJ/Egg Harbor Township), Hofer, and sophomore
Margaret Molloy (Toms River, NJ/Toms River East) as the foursome posted a winning time of 3:43.22. The Lions opened the night with a second place finish in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:08.84 as Varvaro, sophomore
Katie Morgan (Westfield, NJ/Westfield), junior
Christina Falcone (Newtown, PA/Notre Dame), and freshman
Laura Pierce (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) excelled.
Molloy won the 1,000 freestyle in 10:53.85, while Hofer was the winner in the 50 freestyle in 25.17, just ahead of teammates, Pierce who was in second in 25.61 and junior
Ashley Robb (Blackwood, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) who took third in 25.67. Hofer won the 100 free in 54.66 and Pierce added a third in 55.25.
Varvaro won the 100 backstroke in 1:01.31, while Morgan won the 100 breaststroke in 1:09.47. Molloy picked up third in the 500 freestyle in 5:21.30, while junior
Brittany Collyer (Forked River, NJ/Lacey Township) took second in the 200 individual medley in 2:17.47.
Senior
Stefanie Rashti (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill West) won the 200 butterfly in 2:17.04 and rookie
Melissa Hessler (Palmyra, NJ/Palmyra) finished in second in the 200 freestyle in 2:00.76, just ahead of senior
Sara Casciano (Hewitt, NJ/Immaculate Heart Academy) who took third in 2:04.63.
