Ewing, NJ...The College of New Jersey picked up its third straight win as the Lions defeated visiting New York University on Saturday by the score of 7-2.
A perfect 3-0 record in doubles play sparked the Lions to the win.
Also on Saturday, the Lions were presented with their New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship Trophy after cruising through conference play with an undefeated mark of 5-0 during the fall portion of the schedule.
The win over the Violets puts TCNJ at 14-3 on the season heading into Wednesday's final dual meet of the season. In that match, the Lions will host Stevens Institute of Technology.
