th-ranked William Paterson University in New Jersey Athletic Conference play on Tuesday night in Wayne, NJ.

WPU responded, however, with an 11-0 run, draining five consecutive shots and a free throw to race ahead 30-18. The host put the contest out of reach with a 17-4 run to open the second half. Their size advantage and tenacity under the boards was difficult to overcome as they outscored the Lions 46-18 in the paint and managed 23 second-chance points. Five players finished in double figures led by senior guard
Rick Destefano and sophomore playmaker
Jacques Conceicao who each finished with 12 points. Freshman
Terik Bridgeman produced a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds, while senior
