Hannah Raymond (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Twp.) hit a NCAA qualifying diving mark as the Lions posted a solid 160-128 victory over Division II Southern Connecticut State University on Saturday.

The won put TCNJ's women's swimming and diving team at a modest 2-0 to start the season.

Raymond won 3-meter event with 275.15 points that gave her a qualifying mark for the regional diving meet in the spring. She just needs to match that score once more this season to secure the invite. She also came out on top on the 1-meter board with 234.45 points. Freshman
Emma Pranschke (Westwood, NJ/Westwood Regional) was second in both events with 216.50 on the lower board and 197.85 on the higher one.

For the second straight meet, the trio of sophomore
Marta Lawler (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East), freshman
Lindsay Rippey (Sparta, NJ/Sparta) and sophomore
Madeleine Clements (Haddon Heights, NJ/Bishop Eustace) swept the 100 breaststroke. Lawler won the race in 1:10.99 and was followed by Rippey (1:14.02) and Clements (1:14.41). Lawler (2:33.19) and Rippey (2:39.05) added a one-two finish in the 200 breaststroke.

Brenna Strollo (Long Branch, NJ/Biotechnology) picked up a pair of individual victories as she posted a top time of 1:00.57 in the 100 backstroke and then showed her versatility by winning the 200 individual medley in 2:14.47.

Lauren Rothstein (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview) picked up a win in the 200 freestyle with a first-place time of 2:02.21, while sophomore
Jill Galindo (Millstone Twp., NJ/Allentown) took the top spot in the 200 backstroke in 2:19.63.

The Lions continue their New Jersey Athletic Conference schedule on Saturday, November 7 when they host Ramapo College at 2 p.m.
