New York, NY…The College of New Jersey women's swimming and diving team suffered their first loss of the season to fourth ranked New York University 207-87 on Saturday. This brings the Lions record to 3-1 for the seaon.

Sophomore diver
Hannah Raymond (Burlington, NJ/ Burlington Twp) was one of the top scorers for the Lions winning the 1 meter diving with an NCAA regional qualifying score of 277.50 and placing second in the 3 meter diving with another regional qualifying score of 266.78. Freshman
Emma Pranschke (Westwood, NJ/ Westwood Regional) placed fourth and third respectively.

The Lions swept the 400 IM event with sophomore
Debbie Meskin (Vorhees, NJ/Eastern Regional) winning the event in 4:59.41. Seniors
Melissa Haley (Manasquan, NJ/Manasquan) and
Sarah Richards (Doylestown, PA/ Central Bucks East) rounded out the event in second and third places with times of 5:08.20 and 5:11. 20.

Ali Huber (South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield), placed second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:04.28 and was part of the winning 400 Freestyle Relay with sophomore
Marta Lawler (Cherry Hill, NJ, Cherry Hill East), senior
Lauren Rothstein (Mullica Hill, NJ Clearview) and sophomore
Emily Rothstein (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview). Lawler place third in the 100 breast with a time of 1:10.57.

The Lions finish out the first half of their schedule when they host the TCNJ Invitational beginning December 4, 2015.
