Ewing, NJ... The College of New Jersey opened the season with its third straight victory as the Lions handled visiting Ramapo College 168-93 on Saturday.
 
The win also kept TCNJ perfect in New Jersey Athletic Conference action as they have won both meets against league foes.
 
Junior Brenna Strollo (Long Branch, NJ/Biotechnology) continued her strong start with a pair of wins, taking top honors in both the 100 backstroke and the 200 individual medley. She won the 100 breast in 1:01.38 and the 200 IM in 2:16.96.
 
Freshman Gabi Denicola (Oradell, NJ/River Dell) posted two victories as well, touching the wall first in the two long freestyle events. She won the 500 free in 5:41.66 and the 1,000 in 11:28.03.
 
The double winners didn't stop there when sophomore Marta Lawler (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) won a pair of breaststroke events. In the 100, she earned a winning time of 1:10.86 and a clocking of 2:32.71 in the 200.
 
TCNJ will look to win their fourth straight meet next Saturday when they head to New York University.
