NJAC Release
PITMAN, N.J. – The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) announced selections for lacrosse All-Conference teams and special awards Friday. The College of New Jersey led the way with six First-Team All-NJAC selections. All awards are based on both conference-only and overall stats, and voted on by the league's coaches.

Leading the way for the Lions were 2019 Attack Player of the Year
Alexandria Fitzpatrick, 2019 Goaltender of the Year
Miranda Chrone, and 2019 Coach of the Year Sharon Pfluger. Joining Fitzpatrick and Chrone on the All-NJAC First Team are attacker
Olivia Cleale, Midfielders
Erin Harvey and
Kathleen Jaeger, and Defender
Abby Flagler.

Fitzpatrick earns her first All-Conference honor after leading the NJAC in conference-only goals with 21 finishing second in conference-only points with 26. Fitzpatrick was also a force on the draw circle, ranking sixth in the conference with 24 in league play. Overall, Fitzpatrick leads the Lions with 54 goals on the season. She has additionally scored at least one goal in every game this season.

Chrone earns her second consecutive NJAC Goaltender of the Year award to go along with an All-Conference Honorable Mention in 2017. Chrone leads all NJAC starting goalies in conference-only goals against average at 4.89 and is third in save percentage at 54.2%. For the season, Chrone ranks eighth nationally in goals against average at 7.17.

Cleale remains on the First-Team All-Conference for the second straight season. Cleale led all players in the NJAC in conference-only points and conference-only assists. For the season, Cleale is second in the NJAC in both points and assists. Nationally, she ranks 32
nd in assists this season.

Harvey makes her second All-Conference team after earning Honorable Mention honors as a freshman in 2016. A true two-way player, Harvey led the NJAC in conference-only game winning goals. Harvey also ranked in the top 30 in the conference in conference-only goals, assists, ground balls, caused turnovers, and draw controls. For the season, Harvey leads the Lions and is seventh in the conference in draw controls.

Jaeger makes her third All-Conference appearance in 2019 after earning First-Team honors in both 2017 and 18. Jaeger ranks sixth in conference-only goals and seventh in conference-only points. For the season, Jaeger ranks 12
th in the NJAC in goals and 16
th in points.

Flagler earns her second All-Conference nod after Honorable Mention status in 2018. The senior ranks in the top 20 in conference-only ground balls, draw controls, and caused turnovers. Flagler was a key piece to a defense that led the conference in scoring defense this season.

The Lions are in action tomorrow when they host Rowan University in the NJAC Championship game at 1 p.m.
