LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. – The College of New Jersey men's track and field team competed in a dual meet against Stockton University Friday night. The Lions defeated the Ospreys 87-76.

In the running events,
George Houston got the Lions off to a strong start. Houston won the 55 meter hurdles with a personal best time of 7.80.
Anthony Lorenc followed with a personal best 6.63 to win the 55 meters.

Kevin Christensen and
Evan Bush went one-two in the mile. The pair posted times of 4:29.51 and 4:30.35.
Brett Schuett won the 400 meters with a personal best 50.91.

In the 800 meters,
Robert Abrams posted an AARTFC qualifying time of 1:56.77 for the victory.
Andrew Lodge posted his second personal best of the day in the 200 meters with a winning time of 23.38.

Mike Zurzolo and
William Mayhew both went sub nine minutes in the 3,000 meters.

Lodge, Schuett,
Jason Andiopoulos, and
Tanatswa Gawe won the 4x200 in 1:31.74. The Lions team of
Aditya Chandrashekar,
Andrew Gratti,
Ben Winkler, and
Roman Rychkov won the 4x400 with a time of 3:30.17. Abrams,
Alex Amoia, Bush and Christensen won the final relay of the day. The team stopped the clock at 8:11.22 to win the 4x800.

In the field,
Warlys Lizardo improved his personal best in the weight throw by nearly a full meter with a toss of 12.63 meters.

Tim Reilly went 12.71 meters to win the triple jump.

The Lions return to action at the University of Albany Winter Classic Friday at 12 p.m.
