GREENWOOD, Ind. – The CoSIDA Academic All-District teams for women's track and field were released by the organization on Friday. TCNJ's Emily Forester was honored for her combination of achievements both as a runner and in the classroom. The awards are voted on by member sports information directors and are awarded based upon combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom.
 
Forester, a junior biology major, has produced a 3.84 cumulative GPA during her time at the college. She has been a member of the Dean's List in each of her first five semesters at the college.
 
On the track, Forester is a three-time NJAC Champion. She was a member of the Lions' distance medley relay team in both 2018 and 2019 that crossed the finish line first at the NJAC Indoor Championships. She was also a member of TCNJ's 4x800 relay team that was victorious at the 2020 NJAC Indoor Championships. She also earned All-NJAC honorable mention as a member of the Lions' distance medley relay team in 2020.
 
Forester is now eligible for Academic All-America honors, which will be released on Tuesday, June 23.
