EWING, N.J. – TCNJ's
James McChesney was honored as NJAC men's swimmer of the week on Monday, the league office announced.
McChesney was sensational in the 15
th-ranked Lions' NJAC rout of Ramapo on Saturday, winning three individual events and a relay.
The sophomore swam the anchor leg of the 200 medley relay leg to open the meet, joining
Andrew Thompson,
Ryan VanDeVeen, and
Jack Marble to post a time of 1:37.35.
McChesney then went on to take first place in the 50 free (21.90), 200 back (2:00.49), and 200 IM (2:00.32) in another display of individual dominance for a swimmer who has won every event he has entered this season.
McChesney and the Lions put their ranking to the test with a trip to No. 8 NYU this weekend.
