Every Friday, TCNJ Athletics will highlight one of its Hall of Fame inductees. This week it's men's basketball star Ervin "Skip" Johnson, a 1967 graduate and a 1982 inductee into the TCNJ Athletics Hall of Fame. This is his Hall of Fame profile from the induction ceremony.

When talking about the history of Trenton State basketball, the name Ervin "Skip" Johnson is always included in the conversation.

Before graduating in 1967, Skip earned four varsity letters in basketball. In his junior year, he became the first junior in Trenton State history to score 1,000 points. He finished his collegiate career with 1,473 points, a school record.

He was named to the New Jersey State College Conference All-Star team in 1965 and was named to the Eastern Baptist Christmas All-Tournament team the same year. He served as co-captain in his senior year.

He later became a basketball official.
