EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ women's swimming and diving team competed hard throughout day one of the 2024 TCNJ Invitational on Friday.
Four swimmers had top-five finishes in both individual events and with a 200 free relay team to lead the Lions with 235 points for a second place team standing in a field of five.
Lilliana Kuball was second in the 200 IM and with the Lions' A relay squad.
Bridget Cleveland took third in the 50 free and second as part of the A relay team.
Sarah Mandy was fourth in the 500 free and fifth with the B relay team, while
Colleen Scanlon took fifth in both the 200 IM and with the B relay team.
TOP-FIVE FINISHERS
- Kicking off the evening's finals session, two 200 freestyle relay quartets finished in the top five with the Kuball, Mary Kate Owens, Cleveland and Katie Mazzacco finishing second with a relay time of 1:39.97
- Scanlon, Nisha Narayanan, Shaye Bundonis and Mandy finished fifth in the 200 free relay with a 1:43.39 time
- In the 500 free championship final, Mandy took fourth with a 5:20.30 time
- In the 200 IM, the Lions also had a pair of top-five finishers with Kuball (2:11.27) finishing second and Scanlon (2:16.85) finishing fifth
- In the 50 free, Cleveland took third with a time of 25.14

The Lions return to the pool tomorrow at 11 a.m. for day two of prelims, before rounding out the day with the finals session starting at 6 p.m.
