EWING, N.J. – The TCNJ Department of Athletics celebrated an incredibly strong Week of Giving, highlighted by the department's first-place finish among all campus departments in total donors and in dollars raised. Athletics had more than 750 donors contribute a grand total of more than $124,000.

The donors represented more than half of all donors to TCNJ's Week of Giving. The donation total represented more than a quarter of all donations to TCNJ and almost half of donations earmarked for a specific department or project.

"The support of athletics during TCNJ's Week of Giving directly impacts every TCNJ student-athlete," said TCNJ Executive Director of Athletics Amanda V. DeMartino. "The support of alumni and friends of TCNJ Athletics during Week of Giving assists in providing a first-class student-athlete experience."

Among athletics programs, the men's swimming and diving team had the most total donors with 126, barely edging out the 125 donors from the wrestling team.

The wrestling team finished with the most money raised at nearly $27,000, followed by the football team with more than $18,000 and the men's swimming and diving team with almost $13,000. The football team and field hockey team finished third and fourth in total donors.
