EWING, N.J. – On the final day of the TCNJ Invitational, the TCNJ men's swimming and diving team put a bow on a dominant weekend showcase.
The trio of
Wyatt Marble,
Joshua Kosukhin, and Joshua Bouchard kicked off the final day of the TCNJ Invitational in the 1-meter. Marble posted a 288.10 to earn 4
th place in that event, while Kosukhin (257.15) and Bouchard (232.65) placed in 6
th and 7
th respectively.
For the swimmers,
Tyler McGeehan highlighted the wins with an NCAA B cut time in the 200 Breast (2:00.79). Before McGeehan's effort,
Gavin Formon got the winning started with his 15:59.84 time on the 1650 Free. Formon came close to claiming another individual win in the very next event, but he came in second behind fellow Lion
Mason Bushay (1:51.53) in the 200 Back.
Riley Smith then picked up a win in the 100 Free (45.99), followed later by
Pablo Salazar's win in the 200 Fly (1:49.82). The meet concluded with a second-place finish by TCNJ's B relay of
Derin Ozbas,
Kyle Brushaber,
Nate Ross, and Smith.
As a team, TCNJ amassed 1,429 points—almost double the point total of the team in second place.
With the final event of this month complete, the Lions now look ahead to their encounter with NYU and Fordham in New York City on December 6.
