Women's Swimming & Diving Wraps up Regular Season

KINGS POINT, N.Y. – The TCNJ women's swimming and diving team wrapped up the regular season with a series of strong performances at the USMMA Memorial Invitational on Saturday.
 
Lilliana Kuball won the 100 fly and diving standout Beth Evaldi took both boards for the Lions in a meet that did not use team scoring.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES
  • Kuball touched the wall first in the 100 fly, her time of 1:01.60 edging out the runner-up by just shy of a second; she was also fifth in the 500 free at 5:33.41
  • Bridget Cleveland was runner-up in the 400 IM (4:58.67) as well as sixth in the 50 free (26.53)
  • Katie Mazzacco placed second in the 200 fly (2:23.56) and fourth in the 200 IM (2:22.48)
  • Shaye Bundonis finished second in the 200 back (2:16.77), where Sofia Hall took fourth (2:25.34) and Sarah Mandy fifth (2:26.31)
  • Kuball teamed with Bella Patti, Shayna Jaroslaw, and Mandy to place third in the 400 free relay (3:54.23)
ON THE BOARDS
  • Evaldi won the 1-meter board with a score of 291.25 and scored 297.70 points to easily win the 3-meter
  • Melody Lin was second on 1-meter (250.25) and fourth on 3-meter (203.55)
  • Hannah Simons finished third on both 1-meter (207.75) and 3-meter (212.50)
  • Jenna Ringel placed fifth on 1-meter (159.50) and 3-meter (197.10)

  • The Lions turn their attention to the NJAC Championships, set for Feb. 13-16 in Hampton, Virginia
