HAMPTON, Va. – The TCNJ women's swimming and diving team picked up a number of personal bests on the second night of the NJAC Championship on Saturday.
Lilliana Kuball placed second in the B-final of the 200 IM and
Sarah Mandy was third in the B-final of the 500 free to headline the proceedings for the Lions, who ended the night in sixth place in the team standings.
TOP PERFORMERS
500 FREE
- Mandy was terrific in the 500 free, notching a personal best by over four seconds to take 11th place in 5:12.24
- Katie Mazzacco trimmed more than five seconds off her PR and finished 21st with a time of 5:18.40, and Bella Patti was right behind in 22nd (5:18.66)
200 IM
- Kuball turned in a career-best performance in the B-final of the 200 IM, placing second in the heat and 10th overall with a time of 2:10.06; that mark was better than two swimmers in the A-final
- Colleen Scanlon shaved more than a second off her previous personal best in the 200 IM, completing the race in 2:12.52 to finish 19th
400 MEDLEY RELAY
- The grouping of Scanlon, Kuball, Nisha Narayanan, and Mazzacco finished seventh in the 400 medley relay with a time of 4:00.60, the best time in the event by a TCNJ quartet since the 2022 Metropolitan Conference championships
