Women's T&F Wraps up Indoor Regular Season

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The TCNJ women's track and field team was at the Jane and David Ott Center of the University of Pennsylvania for the Widener University Indoor Classic on Saturday.
 
ON THE TRACK 
  • Kelly O'Grady moved into the top-75 on the national performance list in the 800 meters after coming in eighth place with a time of 2:18.23)
  • Eliza Bruncaj placed seventh in the 60-meter hurdles finals (9.28)
  • Rukky Daranijo placed ninth in the 400-meter dash (59.97).
  • Cassidy Quinn set a new personal record (5.16:60) after running the mile and coming in 20th place. Her teammate, Molly Bossdorf, also set a new personal record (5:24.68)
  • Mackenzie Burke (25.97) and Petra Doherty (26.62) broke their personal records in the 200-meter dash, while Erin Picklo (26.22) and Samantha Magin (26.81) had their season's best time in the event.
  • Naesha Gadie's (10:40.75) and Savannah Hodgens' (10:57.82) performances in the 3000 meters allowed them to set their personal record times.
  • O'Grady, Burke, Daranijo, and Bruncaj posted the 14th-best time in the nation in the 4x400 relay (3:55.37)
IN THE FIELD
  • Jessica Reilly and Kerri McCarthy tied for fifth place (15.01m) in the weight throw.
  • McCarthy came in 15th place for the shot put (11.36m) out of the 44 athletes who competed. 
  • Brooke Valan got 13th place (10.67m) in the triple jump and Erin McGauley jumped for her personal record (10.15m), landing in 17th.
UP NEXT
  • TCNJ will return to Philadelphia on Saturday, Feb. 22, for the NJAC Indoor Championships, which will start at 4 P.M.
