EWING, N.J. – TCNJ is sending seven men's swimmers to the NCAA Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina next month.
 
Steven Bendoraitis, Gavin Formon, Ryan Higgins, and Ryan VanDeVeen all qualified for the national meet as individuals, while MJ Hoban, Joe McChesney, and Andrew Kidchob will join VanDeVeen as part of the 200 medley relay team that earned an invite.
 
Bendoraitis is seeded 11^th in the 1650 free (15:34.83).
 
Formon qualified in the 400 IM (14^th), 500 free (16^th), and 1650 free (14^th). He is already a 6-time All-American for his career, including a 10^th-place finish in the 400 IM and 13^th in the 1650 free at last year's championships.
 
Higgins earned invites in the 200 IM (14^th), 400 IM (5^th), and 200 back (T-4^th). The senior finished runner-up by a mere .04 seconds in the 400 IM a year ago and also placed fifth in the 200 back to give him three career All-America honors.
 
VanDeVeen was invited in both the 100 breast (13^th) and 200 breast (5^th). A 5-time All-American, the senior finished seventh in the 200 breast last season and has swam on three All-American relays during his career.
 
Rookies Hoban and McChesney are set to join VanDeVeen and Kidchob, both of whom have been All-Americans in the event two years running. They finished eighth at last year's NCAA meet and are seeded 14^th overall.
 
All seven Lions will also compete in other events at the championships based on B-cut times they earned throughout the season.
 
Hoban will swim in the 50 and 100 free, while Bendoraitis is also set to swim the 200 free and 500 free.
 
McChesney will compete in the 100 fly, and Kidchob will compete in the 100 back.
 
Kidchob, VanDeVeen, McChesney, and Hoban will compete in the 400 medley relay, while Hoban will join Formon, Higgins, and Bendoraitis in the 800 free relay.
 
The NCAA Championships begin March 19 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
