GREENSBORO, N.C. – The TCNJ men's swimming team doubled up on All-Americans in the 400 IM on Night 2 at the NCAA Championships on Thursday.

Ryan Higgins placed 6th in the A-final and Gavin Formon finished 13th overall at the evening session at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Both are now 3-time All-Americans in the 400 IM, and Formon's swim ensured that all seven Lions swimmers will return from nationals with at least one All-America certificate.

Higgins, the runner-up in the 400 IM at last year's national meet, clocked a time of 3:52.21 in the finals heat; he finished third in prelims with a time of 3:52.31.

Formon earned himself a night swim by finishing 14th in prelims, and completing the finals heat in 3:55.92 officially made him a three-time All-American in the event. He placed sixth in 2023 and 10th last year.

Swimming in his first NCAA race as an individual, Joe McChesney was 35th in the prelims of the 100 fly (49.32).

Steven Bendoraitis (1:40.03) was 30th in the 200 free prelims.
