Maxim Rychkov took down a record that had stood for nearly half a century to headline the TCNJ men's track and field team's busy opening outdoor weekend in which the Lions competed in three meets across Texas and Pennsylvania.

Rychkov ran a 10.48 in the 100-meter dash at the Trinity Invitational in San Antonio, breaking a mark that had stood untouched since 1976 in another a dazzling outdoor debut.

- Rychkov came within .03 seconds of the all-time 100-meter dash record that has stood since 1976, clocking a 10.58 to place 15th overall – ahead of a litany of Division I sprinters
- Ray Schmitt ran a 10.67 in the 100
- Nate Adams ran a 54.90 in the 400-meter hurdles
- Schmitt, Jack Attali, Noah Traverso, and Rychkov came within a quarter-second of the program record in the 4x100-meter relay, stopping the clock at 41.34 seconds
- Traverso, Attali, Tyrese Gilbert, and Rychkov finished the 4x400 in 3:19.44
TRINITY INVITATIONAL
- Rychkov broke Keith Taylor's nearly 50-year-old record in the 100-meter dash, clocking a blazing 10.48 to move into 5th on the NCAA outdoor performance list
- Rychkov nearly brought down another longstanding mark, posting a time of 21.40 in the 200-meter dash to finish .06 seconds shy of Eric Green's standard from 2002
- Adams ran career-bests in the 110 hurdles (15.45) and 400 hurdles (54.67), winning the latter
- Traverso placed fourth in the 200-meter dash (21.82) and split top prize with a personal-best 13.36 meters in the triple jump
- Christian Farhat established a new outdoor PR in the shot put (15.07m) and an overall PR in the hammer throw (39.11m)
- Jayden Wright was right behind Farhat in the shot put (14.96 meters) and had a PR in the hammer (37.79m)
- Alexander Bogues was second in the javelin (53.01m)
- Stephen Daramola uncorked a new PR in the hammer throw (47.81m), as did Brandon Kuse (46.71m)

- Brandon Chen was runner-up in the 5000 meters (14:33.15)
- Thomas Blach led a large Lion contingent in the 1500 meters (4:09.46)
- Nate Kidwell (9:58.17) and Ryan Segalla (10:10.26) competed in the steeplechase
- Ryan Mohr posted an impressive mark of 55.24 meters in his javelin debut
- Matthew Corrigan paced the pride's pole vault contingent, taking eighth with a mark of 4.10 meters
