PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The TCNJ men's track and field sent its 4x100 and 4x200 squads to compete at the Penn Relays Friday afternoon in a highly competitive field that included a number of Division I programs, and the Lions brought home yet another school record from historic Franklin Field.
Â
The Lions 4x100 team was the first to compete, finishing 10th with a time of 41.45. TCNJ's quartet of Raymond Schmitt,
Maxim Rychkov,
Noah Traverso and
Jack Attali was the third-highest finishing Division III team in the event, beating out the likes of Fordham, Morgan State and Monmouth.
Â
Just under two hours later the Lions' Traverso, Attali, Rychkov and
Anthony Senatore ran in the 4x200, crossing the line in 13th with a record-breaking time of 1:26.56. TCNJ's time was only bested by Rowan among Division III schools, with the Lions topping Division I St. Joseph's, Troy and Old Dominion.
