PITMAN, N.J. – The TCNJ women's track and field team placed a dozen athletes to the 2025-26 NJAC's Women's Indoor Track and Field All-Conference team, with
Lucia Garcia-Beltran leading the way with a major award win. As a team, TCNJ claimed five golds, seven silvers, and three bronzes at the NJAC Indoor Championships this year.
FIRST TEAM
- Garcia-Beltran, who was named a USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week earlier this year, earned three first-team nods. She set meet records in the 60m and 200m to win a couple of golds, and also led the 4x200 relay which became the first in DIII to post a sub-1:40 time.
- Kelsey Thomas won a pair of golds in the 400m and the 4x200 relay.
- Petra Doherty and Rukky Daranijo were also part of the 4x200, securing two more first-team spots for the Lions.
- Allison Lavin earned a first-team selection in the shot put, winning gold with her mark of 12.55m.
SECOND TEAM
- Sarah Scepkowski earned a trio of silver medals, placing runner-up in the 60m hurdles, high jump, and pentathlon. She amassed 3,358 points in the pentathlon, which is the second-best score in program history for the event.
- Daranijo added a second-team honor in the 400m, where she finished just behind Thomas in first.
- Kelly O'Grady posted a 2:16.08 in the 800m to earn a second-team nod.
- Samantha Magin, Breanna Casais, Casey Noonan, Brenna Omert took second place in the 4x400 relay, posting a time of 4:02.29.
HONORABLE MENTION
- Lia Malave garnered the first All-NJAC selections of her career, finishing third in both the long jump and triple jump.
- Thomas added a bronze medal to her collection in the 200m, recording a personal-best time of 25.15.
