PITMAN, N.J. – After a pair of hugely productive performances, TCNJ lacrosse standout
CJ Kole has been named NJAC Offensive Player of the Week.
Kole was dominant in a couple of commanding wins for the now 14
th-ranked Lions, racking up 10 goals and seven assists in a dominant offensive display. She posted career highs in points (11) and assists (6) in Wednesday's 17-5 victory at Moravian, scoring five times on six shots while also collecting six draw controls.
Only the 10th player in program history to register at least 11 points in a single game, Kole followed that up with five goals and an assist in a 16-7 defeat of Ursinus on Saturday, when she also tallied three draw controls, three caused turnovers, and two ground balls.
Kole, who converted all five of her free-position attempts for the week, has 14 goals and 7 assists in three games this spring and is three goals shy of 100 for her career. This marks the her first career Player of the Week award.
