The seventh-ranked Lions improved to 5-2 overall this season, while the 11
th-ranked Ducks dropped their second consecutive dual meet.

The 200-yard medley relay set the tone for the Lions as the team of senior
Aleksander Burzynski (Colonia, NJ/St. Joseph's), junior
James Shangle (Highland Park, NJ/Highland Park), junior
Joseph Dunn (Fanwood, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) and sophomore
Andrew Nesbitt (Somerset, NJ/St. Joseph's) combined for a first-place finish. The foursome posted a winning time of 1:34.20.

Shangle returned to the lane to register a pair of wins in the 100- and 200-breaststroke events. He topped the field with winning times of 58.79 and 2:11.66. Burzynski also notched an individual victory in the 200-backstroke (1:57.88) and finished runner-up in the 100-back in 52.94.

Dunn also won a pair of events with a victory in the 50-free and 100-butterfly. He registered a time of 21.32 in the sprint free and 50.90 in the 100-fly.

Reigning NJAC Swimmer of the Week
Jin Roh (Tenafly, NJ/Tenafly) touched the wall first in the 100-back and also placed second in the 200-back. He completed the 100- in 52.38 and the 200- in 1:57.97.

Sophomore
Ryan Gajdzisz (Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood) had a busy, but productive day in the water. He topped the field in the 200-freestyle race with a finish of 1:42.59. Gajdzisz also won the 500-free in 4:42.22 and finished second overall in the 100-free.

Teammate
Brett Pedersen (Sewell, NJ/St. Augustine Prep) was the event winner in the 100-free (47.01) and finished runner-up in the 50-free (21.37) and 200-free (1:44.56). Sophomore
Scott Vitabile (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) also contributed a second-place finish in the 200-fly with a time of 1:58.22.

In the final event, the Lions capped another successful outing in their home aquatic center with a first-place finish in the 400-free relay. Dunn, Gajdzisz, Vitabile and Pedersen cruised to a finishing time of 3:07.97.

In diving,
David Adlai-Gail posted a score of 236.10 in the 1-meter and 242.33 in the 3-meter event.

TCNJ looks to remain unbeaten in New Jersey Athletic Conference meets this Saturday when they visit Rowan University for a match-up slated for 1:15 p.m.
