PITMAN, N.J. – The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its choices for weekly awards on Monday, and two TCNJ men's swimming & diving student-athletes were honored.
Harrison Yi was named Swimmer of the Week, while
Jay Soukup was selected as Diver of the Week.
Yi put forth a strong performance against Stevens Institute of Technology. The junior won the 200-free with a time of 1:43, as well as the 100-free with a time of 47.87. Yi took his third event of the afternoon with a first place 4:47 effort in the 500-free. Additionally, he swam in the 400 freestyle relay team that took second place with a time of 3:11.
Soukup enjoyed a terrific day in the diving well. He posted a score of 434.10 in the one meter dive, and 460.95 in the three meter dive. Those times qualified Soukup for the Regional Championships.
