STRONG START
The Lions swept Stockton by final scores of 89-81 and 84-75 last weekend. In game one,
Jason Larranaga led TCNJ with a team-high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field and 5-of-9 from three-point range. Larranaga also grabbed six rebounds.
In game two,
Travis Jocelyn went off for a career-high 43 points. The senior forward shot 12-of-24 from the field, 7-of-14 from three-point range, and 12-of-13 from the free throw line. Jocelyn made it a double-double with 11 rebounds. The 43 points were only nine shy of TCNJ Athletics Hall of Famer and former NBA Player Greg Grant's single-game program record of 52 points.
"Last weekend, we had a lot of guys step up into bigger roles and perform at a high level," Jocelyn said. "We shot the ball well and defended well, and after hard-fought back-to-back games against Stockton we were able to come out of the weekend 2-0. The key for us is not getting complacent moving forward. Our mindset is to work hard every day like we are searching for our first win, and if we do that, I think it will give us a good chance to come out 2-0 every weekend."

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
For his outstanding performances, Jocelyn was named D3hoops.com Team of the Week and NJAC Player of the Week. The Verona, N.J., native averaged 31.5 points and 10 rebounds per game. Jocelyn is currently leading all of NCAA Division III in scoring with his 31.5 points per game average two games in.
